Hi, I’m Andrea Dan. I was born and raised in Tampa, Florida where I received my Technical Degree in Computer Software. While acquiring my degree I met my husband, Justin. Over the following 14 years we had three beautiful children JD, Annabelle, and Annica. My husband was Active Duty Army for 16 years with us moving 8 times in the first 13 years of our marriage. He is originally from Texas so when he was medically retired due to injuries sustained on duty we chose to move to Gilmer to raise our children. I have been a stay at home mom for a while. Due to moving often, frequent deployments Justin went on, and having a child with special needs we decided it best. During this time as a stay at home mom I volunteered for the community, the FRG (Family Readiness Group) as FRG leader, Co-Leader, Treasurer among many other positions, the elementary school, and the Battalion my husband was assigned to. I held many positions and put together newsletters, kept families informed of changes with their soldiers, put together events, and volunteered with the children at the local orphanage while stationed in Germany. I am working on my Bachelor’s in Computer Networking and Cybersecurity. I currently have a GPA of 4.0 and have been on the Dean’s List every semester. I have never lived in Texas before, but I am loving Gilmer and look forward to purchasing a forever home and finally having a stable home to raise our children. We love to explore as a family, swimming, and fishing. I am excited to start exploring what Texas has to offer and to finally put pictures on the wall knowing I will never have to box them up again.

Fun Fact:

My husband, Justin, and I only knew each other for 16 days before we got married. In August we will be celebrating our 14-year anniversary!

Something interesting:

Not only am I a twin, but my husband is also a twin. Both of our twin sister’s names are Jessica!
